California Juniper:The land of the golden coyote and the ancient, red-ribboned earth of California's majestic Death Valley spans twelve thousand feet of vertical elevation between Bad Water and Telescope Peak. When the sun breaks at dawn over Kingston Peak, the California Juniper trees emit warm pollen on the wind that fills the air with a candy-like flavour, coating mineral-rich stones in a fine yellow dust.

A land of perilous adventure, one that is as different at night as it is during the day, to such a grand degree that you might as well be describing the difference between the sun and the moon. A stark landscape, full of elegant and hardy wildflowers, at once fragile and eternal, a million years of sunshine are captured in this Campfire Incense.

Cedar (formerly Siskiyou): Along the coast of Southern Oregon, unique and aromatic forests line rocky beaches and river ways that form great knots trailing up into a trackless, mountainous wilderness. The Siskiyou Cedar tree heavy with mist and vibrant in green-laced boughs reaches down into wet, rich soil and fills the air with a ginger-like perfume.

This elegant expression of the Pacific Northwest coast eludes culinary description in its warm, round aroma that is more evocative of damp, fresh moss and dark forests where trails dissolve into the thick old growth.

No hidden ingredients. No charcoal or perfume.

Our incense is made up of three simple ingredients: wildcrafted plant material, tree sap, and the wood stick. There are no artificial burning agents added, so from time to time a stick will burn out. Just re-light the incense using this technique: hold the stick completely vertical and pass the flame up and down the incense. Then really hold the flame on the end and that's it!
